This is a sarcastic post about the “benefits” of smoking cigarettes. While there are some positive benefits to smoking, the side effects outweigh the benefits. I got inspired to write this post after I listened to an educative video by Gauranga Prabhu entitled “The Joy of De-Addiction“. I used to be a former story myself, you can read the story of my very cigarette.
- You will beat old age: when you smoke frequently, you have a higher probability of dying younger and therefore you conquer old age before it conquers you!
- No dog will ever bite you: excessive smoking might make you out of shape and therefore you might need a walking stick to help you walk at some point. What dog wants to come and bite you when it sees a stick in your hand?!
- No thief will break into your house: when smoking a lot, you will eventually stay up most of the night coughing. No thief will dare approach your house because he knows you are awake!
