Many of us watched The Terminator movie in our childhoods and have fond memories of the persistent and deadly terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In that movie, time travel was discovered in the future and the terminator goes back to the past so certain events do not take place.
Imagine for a second that in the future, someone goes back in time to Jesus’ time to prevent his crucifixion (given that Jesus really existed and he was really crucified).
